🔍 Why You Need a Home Inspection
A professional home inspector is trained to evaluate the systems, structure, and safety of a property. Their job is to identify:
Material defects
Safety hazards
Components that need repair or replacement
You can then make informed decisions—whether it's moving forward, negotiating repairs, or walking away during the option period.

🔑 What Your Inspector Will Check
During your home inspection, make sure these key structural components are thoroughly evaluated:
1️⃣ Plumbing – Look for leaks, drainage issues, and proper water pressure
2️⃣ Foundation – Check for cracks, shifting, or signs of instability
3️⃣ Roof – Confirm the roof is in good shape with no damage or leaks
4️⃣ Electrical – Ensure wiring, outlets, breakers, and panels are safe and up to code
5️⃣ HVAC – Test both heating and cooling systems for functionality and efficiency
🐜 Don’t Forget the WDI Report
Also known as the Wood Destroying Insect Report (WDI), this inspection checks for termites and other pests that could damage the home’s structure. Many lenders require it—don’t skip it!
